{"id":228,"date":"2020-02-18T13:59:20","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T10:59:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.15.0.91:8080\/?page_id=228"},"modified":"2026-07-01T13:54:58","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T10:54:58","slug":"yazim-klavuzu","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/arapcadergisi.aydin.edu.tr\/en\/yazim-klavuzu\/","title":{"rendered":"WRITING RULES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Publishing Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Ayd\u0131n Journal of Arabic Studies (AYAD) is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in print and electronically, by the Arabic Language Teaching Department of the Faculty of Education of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University in June and December.\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Research, examination, criticism and evaluation articles related to Arabic language, literature, education, eloquence, culture, art, philosophy, literary history and Arabic translation, <\/strong>is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in print and electronically, by the Arabic Language Teaching Department of the Faculty of Education of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University in June and December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research, examination, criticism and evaluation articles related to Arabic language, literature, education, eloquence, culture, art, philosophy, literary history and Arabic translation,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00f6zg\u00fcn olmak \u015fart\u0131 ile Arap dili, edebiyat\u0131, e\u011fitimi, belagati, k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc, sanat\u0131, felsefesi, edebiyat tarihi ve Arap\u00e7a \u00e7eviri alanlar\u0131 ile ilgili ara\u015ft\u0131rma, inceleme, tenkit ve de\u011ferlendirme yaz\u0131lar\u0131 kamuoyuna duyurulmak amac\u0131yla yay\u0131mlan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the articles to be submitted to Ayd\u0131n Journal of Arabic Studies (AYAD),\u00a0<\/strong>it is required to have a \"research article\" that contributes to the field, or a \"review article\" that evaluates previously published studies and puts forward new and remarkable opinions on this subject. In addition, \"evaluation\" articles and \"book reviews\" in the article format of scientific books published in the relevant fields are also within the scope of the publication of the journal. With the decision of the Editorial Board, Turkish, Arabic, English or Persian translations of original articles from foreign languages that are thought to contribute to the field may also be included, provided that they do not exceed one third of the journal. In order for the \"translated articles\" to be published, it is obligatory to send the permission letter to be obtained from the author or right holder of the original article along with the translated text. In order for the manuscripts to be published in Ayd\u0131n Journal of Arabic Studies, they must not have been previously published elsewhere or accepted for publication.<\/p>\n<p>Articles produced from papers presented at a scientific meeting but not published may be accepted provided that this is clearly stated in the footnote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>General Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The language to be used in the articles and articles published in the journal is Turkish, Arabic, English and Persian.<\/li>\n<li>If there is an institution that supports the study, the last word of the article title should be placed on (*) and the information on the same page as the footnote should be given.<\/li>\n<li>Manuscripts should not exceed 12.000 words including bibliography and annexes.\u00a0<strong>3.000<\/strong> It should not be less than 3,000 words and should not exceed 10,000 words. <strong>10.000<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/li>\n<li>Articles\u00a0<strong>should be organized <\/strong>according to the Chicago system. Please make sure that the references given in the footnote are in the bibliography.<\/li>\n<li>The upper limit of the plagiarism rate determined by the editorial board for our journal\u00a0<strong>is 15percent<\/strong>. The filtering options in the plagiarism detection program are set as follows: -Bibliography excluded-Quotes excluded - Text parts with less than 5 words overlap (Limit match size to 5 words) - Other filtering options in the program menu are not included in the reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Writing Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Page Layout<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The entire text area should be 170 mm X 240 mm, with a gap of 3 cm at the top, 2 cm at the bottom, 2.5 cm at the inner edge, and 2 cm at the outer edge.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type of Font<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Times New Roman font should be used in Turkish and English texts.<\/strong> Turkish \"Abstract\", English \"Abstract\" sections and main text should be 12 pt and footnote section should be 10 pt; text, abstract and footnotes should be aligned in two directions. In the main text, the indent value should be 1.25 in the first line, 6 nk after the paragraph spacing value, and the line spacing value should be 1.15.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arabic and Persian texts<\/strong> should be in Traditinol Arabic font and 16 font size. The footnote section should be 12 points; the text, abstract and footnotes should be aligned in two directions. In the main text, the indent value should be 1.25 in the first line, 6 nk after the paragraph spacing value, and the line spacing value should be 1.15.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Headlines<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The manuscript should be composed of main headings and sub-headings.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Main Title<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Turkish and English titles<\/strong> should be in Times New Roman character, using capital letters, in bold, 14 font size. After leaving a line of space after the title, the author's name should be written in a right-aligned manner, and the author's name should be written in 12 font size with a small surname and a large surname. Author information should be given in the footnote with the asterisk to be added after the author name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arabic and Persian titles<\/strong> should be in Traditional Arabic character, bold and 18 font size. The author's name should be left-aligned and in 16 font size after leaving a line of space after the title. Author information should be given in the footnote with the asterisk to be added after the author name.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It should not exceed 150 words and the title of<strong>\"\u00d6Z\"<\/strong>should be bold, 12 font size, the abstract text should be written in 12 font size, the whole text should be written in Times New Roman font style, on both sides and in Microsoft Word format as a single paragraph. <strong>The title of the keywords<\/strong> should be written in 12 pt and bold, and the keywords should be 12 pt and italic. A minimum of five and a maximum of seven keywords suitable for the article should be written and the first letters of these words should be written in capital letters and the other letters should be small. Brief information about the subject, research method and result of the article should be given in \"\u00d6Z\".<\/p>\n<p>The first page of the article contains the abstract section in the language in which it was written.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Abstract Title<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Abstract Title<\/strong> title should be 12 font size and bold. The English abstract should not exceed 150 words, should be 12 points and should be leaned on both sides. <strong>Keywords<\/strong> title should be written in 12 font size and bold, and keywords should be in 12 font size and italic. The first letters of at least three and at most five keywords suitable for the article should be written in capital letters and the other letters should be small. In the \"Abstract\" section, brief information about the subject, research method and result of the article should be given.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sections<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The section subtitles (such as INTRODUCTION, CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK, LITERATURE REVIEW, RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSION, \u2026) created according to the content of the article should be in capital letters, 12 font size and bold and should be written\u00a0<strong>without using numbering\u00a0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Main Text<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the tables, figures, graphics and pictures used in the text are not originally created by the author(s), they can be used in the text by showing the \"source\". Tables, figures, graphics and pictures should be placed to fit the text part and their titles should be written in 11 font size and centered. The tables and graphs used in the text are shown in Table 1, Table 2.\/ Graph 1., Graph 2. \u2026 etc. Table numbers and titles should be written before the table. Figure 1., Figure 2 with the numbers and titles of the figures, graphs and pictures at the bottom after themselves (figure, graphic and picture).\/ Picture 1., Picture 2. \u2026 etc. The first letters of the words used in the table, figure, graphic and picture titles should be formed in a way that they are uppercase and the others are lowercase.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tables, Figures, Graphics and Pictures<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the tables, figures, graphics and pictures used in the text are not originally created by the author (s), they can be used in the text by showing \u201csource\u201d. Tables, figures, graphics and pictures should be placed to fit the text and the headings should be written in 11 font size and centered. Tables and graphs used in the text should be listed as Table 1., Table 2. \/ Chart 1., Chart 2. etc. and so on. Table numbers and titles should be written before the table. Figures, graphics and pictures of the numbers and the headers (figure, graphic and picture) then the bottom of the Figure 1., Figure 2. \/ Picture 1., Picture 2. etc. should be written as ordered. The first letters of the words used in the tables, figures, graphics and image titles should be initials large and the others are small.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The title should be bold and 12 pt, and the text should be 12 pt Times New Roman.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bibliography<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The title of the bibliography should be written in 12 font size and bold.
